ABA Tutor - Partner Program
ABA Tutor: Curtis Middle School
Reports to: Principal
Location: Ephraim Curtis Middle School
Position Summary:
The Sudbury Public Schools, a PreK-8 district, is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated individual to work as an ABA Tutor at Curtis Middle School. Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), student programming is designed to help students with self-regulation and communication skills across all environments. The students receive highly specialized instruction with inclusion opportunities provided and supported as appropriate. This work is performed in the classroom with direct support from a Master’s-level Head Teacher and BCBA. Training is provided and is on-going.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Aid in planning and implementing academic and behavioral programming for assigned student in collaboration with other members of the team;
Record and summarize data;
Draft progress reports;
Work collaboratively with team members and parents;
Modify general education curriculum/expectations to meet student’s needs and skill level to ensure successful inclusion experiences;
Actively participate in ongoing training;
Work closely with other team members;
Other related duties as assigned.
Classification: ESPAS Level 9 Unit Position
Schedule:(1.0 FTE); 31.67 hours per week
Salary: Salary based on the collective bargaining agreement
Hiring is contingent upon a successful CORI and fingerprinting clearance. All finalists will be required to provide official transcripts.

Job Requirements
Meets the Department of Education Guidelines for Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals
which includes:
High School diploma or equivalent and an Associate’s (or higher) degree;
OR
Completion of 48 credit hours at an Institution of Higher Education;
OR
Completion of one of the formal Massachusetts-endorsed Assessments: Parapro or
WorkKeys;
Four year college degree in education, special education, or psychology preferred;
Experience with children with Autism preferred;
Warm, caring, and respectful, with an interest in working with middle students with disabilities;
Familiarity and training with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
