We are recruiting for a Customer Services Advisor on a full-time, fixed term basis, within the Misconduct team in our Residential Services department. This role will be providing support to the Misconduct supervisor, managing caseloads, setting up meetings, note taking and other administrative tasks. In addition to this, the Misconduct team will be providing outreach to students to help facilitate harmonious living within flats and helping students to resolve low level disputes between themselves.
You will be part of a team of staff who support the smooth running of our Halls of Residence providing an excellent customer service to our students and supporting their wellbeing during their time in residence.
The position offers a 36 hour/week contract and is complimented by a range of other employment benefits. The working hours will be 12pm-8pm Tuesday to Saturday. The shift pattern helps to ensure a high standard of customer service outside of our core working hours and to help support our Security teams on site.
The successful candidate will quickly pick up new software packages, and be competent in the use of systems and spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills will be essential, as well as the ability to liaise with a variety of teams within the University in a professional manner.
Self-motivation and the ability to manage small numbers of people and one’s own workload are desirable qualities.
