We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Research Support officer to join our dynamic team. 
The Research Support Officer will provide general research support to the department and will be a key member of the team.  Your role will involve servicing a number of critical research committees.  You will have responsibility for coordinating the annual engagement and recognition survey working closely with key members of the department.  You will play a key part in tracking internal research grants and providing executive assistant to the Director of Research.  You will manage the department’s research pages and act as content administrator and contribute to the collation of research information for all forms of communication. 
The successful candidate should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in a similar role.  You will need to have proven experience of working in research administration, excellent communication skills, have the ability to think creatively and present new ideas and to influence others.  The post holder will also need to have proven experience of project management and have the ability to work independently and proactively in a flexible manner. 
Although the post holder will report into a member of the Professional Services Team, you would report into the Director of Research for day to day supervision.
