Reporting to the Director, Campus Activities, Service and Leadership in the Division of Student Development, the Assistant Director of Greek Life, Campus Activities, Service and Leadership assists with major programs and functions within the area including, but not limited to weekly programming, leadership development, civic engagement, advising student organizations, as well as support of major groups including the Greek Senate Student Government Association, and the Student Activities Programming Board.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serves as the primary liaison and/or advisor to the Greek Senate, and Greek Senate Executive Board as well as supporting Greek Councils, individual chapters and related committees.
Serves as an advisor / liaison internally and externally for Greek Life and related matters, including working with national and regional Greek organizations leadership offices, councils and boards.
Advises and supports the selection, training and operation of students within the Greek Senate Judicial Board, Order of Omega, and other Greek related committees.
Designs, implements and assesses a variety of student leadership programs including the Greek STARS Leadership Program, Greek Conference, and Hazing Prevention workshops, and other required programs.
Meets with student organizations to assess needs and develop strategies collaboratively with CASL staff to assist student leaders in addressing recognized needs including recruitment, retention, engagement, leadership development and event planning and risk management.
Keep accurate records of student involvement data for digital badges, retention, GPAs, etc. and report as needed.
Keep accurate records of required Greek organization insurance compliance and follow-up with organizations as needed.
Assist with investigations and adjudication regarding violations of university policies and procedures as they pertain to student organizations and Greek Life.
Coordinates and collaborate with other departments in the planning and implementation of special programs including, but not limited to Homecoming, Greek Week, Welcome Weeks, Cultural Celebrations, Family Weekend, etc. Encourage participation of fraternities and sororities in planning and participation in activities for these special programs.
Advises student organizations and officers, including program planning and implementation, fundraising, operations and assessment as needed. Meet with student organizations to approve events.
Supports all new student Orientation programs, including assisting with Orientation Leader selection, training and supervision, event organization and coverage.
Provides coverage at evening and weekends events as needed.
Represents the Office of Campus Activities, Service and Leadership on designated committees as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned that are appropriate for the position within the department of Campus Activities, Service and Leadership and the University.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
Two (2) or more years postgraduate experience working directly with national fraternities and sororities with organization management and event programming which includes design and implementation of student leadership programs at a college or university.
Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Knowledge and experience working directly with national fraternities and sororities.
Proficiency in the use of computer software applications and a variety of social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
Additional, preferred qualifications:
Masters degree.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to prioritize work and meet staggered agreed upon deadlines.
Capable of listening without bias.
