We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Communications to join our friendly and supportive team to lead on the development and implementation of the College’s communications plan in one of the largest Oxford colleges. 
£33,309 pa - £44,706 pa for full time hours, (Grade 7). Up to £54,943 pa (Grade 8) may be considered, depending on skills and qualifications. Calculated pro rata for part time.

The successful applicant will need experience of working as a journalist and producing articles and written content and experience of managing websites, experience of editing communications materials and knowledge of marketing and public relations techniques. 
This role is part-time hours (notional 22.5 hours a week) although full time hours can also be considered.

The responsibilities of the role include media handling, event marketing, website and social media management and consistent content generation. The role holder will work with college members to ensure the website is kept up-to-date and that web content is fresh, attractive, dynamic and appropriate.  In order to undertake this role, it will be essential for the post holder to develop and maintain effective working relationships with members across the College and the alumni community.
