Role Overview
The successful individual will be a member of the Financial and Operational Performance Group in DCU Business School. They will conduct high quality research and teaching in Finance and will also participate in the School’s external engagement activities. Further, the successful individual is expected to contribute to programme management, research supervision and the service activities of the School and University.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must either have, or be close to completion of a PhD in the area of Digital Business or Information Systems and have evidence of relevant research in these areas. Previous teaching experience is required and evidence of a professional qualification is welcomed. We are seeking candidates who both have a well-defined research plan and have the capability to publish in high impact international journals within the digital business/ information systems discipline areas. Candidates should have (or be able to develop) international research networks and partnership. They should also demonstrate excellent social and communication skills consistent with the highest quality of teaching and learning, collectively with evidence of successful teamwork and a collegial approach.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play an important role in the further development of the School’s national and international reputation, and to make a significant contribution to the research activity and industry engagement of the School and to the design, delivery and management of programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive levels.
Salary Scale:
Assistant Professor Salary Scale - €58,629.00 - €93,957.00
Appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in line with current Government pay policy
