An opportunity has arisen to join this UK Clinical Research Collaboration (UKCRC) registered trials unit as a Research Associate, contributing to the successful delivery of funded trials and other clinical trials/research studies within the centre portfolio.
With a postgraduate degree at PhD level or relevant experience, you will need to be an excellent organiser and have a proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are also essential, and experience of conducting and organising multi-centre studies and/or research in a health environment. You will also need to have previously written protocols and patient materials, and possess knowledge of scientific principles and current legal, governance and ethical requirements of both Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) and non-IMP trials. Experience of research data management using appropriate software is also required.
This position would suit a self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
