Job Description:
Reporting to the Advisor to the Social Justice Center (SJC), this role will coordinate all the work of the central office function of the initiative. The position will have a combination of administrative, communication and project management duties. The individual will manage outreach to not only internal campus offices but also to external industry partners as well as the SJC advisory board membership.
Responsible for the management and coordination of administrative and operational work of the department, ensuring that scheduling, timeline and delegation of tasks are completed.
Submit all (weekly, monthly) internal updates and progress reports
Assist and support all project and cross team needs including scheduling meetings, planning and managing events, and writing correspondence and other communications
Key holder of all communication within SJC
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required
At least 3 years of supporting executive/senior leadership in a corporate, government or university setting - or similar experience required
Prior experience working within a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion unit/department preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Able to lead internal meetings, follow-up and push projects forward
Detail oriented and capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking projects from start to finish
Proficient in managing, creating and organizing timelines and outlines for the work of a multi-person department
Experience using MS Office- in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel - as well as Google Docs, Google Drive and Google Calendar

Additional Information:
The salary range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
