Job Summary
Under general supervision of the Director, Laboratory, the IS Coordinator, LAB is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities concerning the operation of the laboratory computer system and associated interfaces, provides clinical data as needed and assists with computer related issues.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Laboratory Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university,
or
combination of education and applicable experience, is required.
Three years of professional computer systems experience performing software design, system workflow analyses and user training in a health care/laboratory environment or equivalent related experience is required.
Proficient understanding of the use and operation of computer hardware, software and systems procedures. Knowledge of data base/systems management principles and practices is required.
Knowledge of medical laboratory practices is required.
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Effective oral and written communication skills are required to work successfully with a diverse group of people at various position levels inside and outside of the organization to resolve computer system issues.
