The University of Maryland Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a desire to join our premier multidisciplinary team in our Shock Trauma Center Neurotrauma IMC Unit
. Located at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in downtown Baltimore near the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards; you won't find a more vibrant place to work!
One of 12 units in the world renowned R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center
(PARC Designation). Challenging care of the most critically ill patients in Maryland who have sustained a Neuro-system severe life-threatening inury often along with other system traumatic injury. Patients are transitioned from Neurotrauma Critical Care to this separate Neurotrauma IMC Unit
once more stable.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Qualifications include:
-Prior RN acute patient care, telemetry, IMC, neuro or trauma experience preferred.
-BSN preferred.
-Nursing Graduates must have completed a Sr practicum in IMC, ICU or trauma or worked as a student nurse or PCT in same area as above.
-Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
-Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to compact state requirements outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing
