Description:
The EL Summer Learning Coordinators serve as liaisons between the summer learning site and the EL Office, coordinating as needed with on-site building administration, nursing, food services, and transportation department staff, and serve as instructional leaders, conducting walk-through observations to assist teachers in adapting instruction and ensuring implementation of the EL summer learning curricula. The coordinators arrange for delivery and return of instructional materials, supervise bus arrivals and departures, supervise meal periods, ensure that parents are notified of student absences, resolve scheduling issues, and address student and teacher concerns. Three (3) positions available.
Qualifications:
ACPS licensed employee with strong organizational and leadership skills, language and/or math instructional training, experience with strategies to promote language acquisition, and successful experience working with linguistically and culturally diverse students.

Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background
Tuberculosis Skin Test
Public Health Compliance
Proof of COVID vaccination. Exemptions for religious/medical will be reviewed.
Must follow safety and health protocols.
