Position Summary
Teach HRLR 314, Legal Environment of Work, in Fall 2023, in the School of Human Resources & Labor Relations. This course provides understanding of and the ability to critique the rights of applicants and employees, and the legal responsibilities of employers in maintaining a diverse, non-discriminatory and safe work environment. Responsibilities include instruction of 3-credit course, grading, and overall course management.
Position is planned to recur every Fall Semester

Required Degree
Masters -human resources or related field.
Desired Degree
Doctorate -human resources or related field.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in employment relations, human resource management, sociology, economics, or a related field.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Current expertise in at least one research area related to legal standards in the areas of employment and labor law in the United States.
Desired Qualifications
JD, Ph.D. Masters Degree in employment relations, human resource management, sociology, economics, or a related field.
Successful experience as an instructor or teaching assistant in the area of employment and labor law at a university level.
Demonstrated ability to interact with undergraduate students.
