The main focus of the role is to provide an efficient, comprehensive and professional support service to the programme in support of the work of the Principal Investigators, co-applicants the Programme Manager and the programme team of a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) funded programme of research.
Until the end of the funding period of November 2022 you will be required to lead the effective and efficient administrative management of the research programme, including managing reporting processes, devising and implementing data management and administrative systems, managing the production of materials for research participants and research materials, managing the production of consultation events and scheduling and administering stakeholder meetings. 
As such the post will require effective liaison with a wide range of stakeholders and senior people both internal and external to the University, e.g. academics, senior colleagues from other HEIs, NHS organisations and Funding bodies. You will also liaise with the programme's patient representatives. As such, you will facilitate cross-faculty, multi-disciplinary and multi-organisational working. You will be based in the School of Pharmacy & Medical Sciences within the Faculty of Life Sciences
