DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director of Talent Development, the Outreach and Change Associate is responsible for supporting organizational development, HR change initiatives, and outreach. In addition, the associate will support employee engagement, culture programs, and related events that align to the university's mission and strategic goals. The Outreach and Change Associate also serves as a partner to the larger Human Resources team by providing OD, change, and outreach support and guidance within the team.
Areas of responsibility will include:
Support and execute organizational development solutions and services for the university focusing on alignment of strategy, processes, people, and rewards
Edit, publish, and audit HR outreach including our social media, website, intranet, and other digital and print resources
Assist in the creation of tools and outreach strategies related to engagement efforts, retention strategies, team development, and culture efforts
Help the Talent and Organizational Development team plan and execute engagement events

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 3 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 1 year of relevant professional experience. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in organizational development, change management, communications, or related functions
Experience managing targeted internal communication or employee outreach within a large organization is highly preferred
Excellent judgment, decision-making, and analytical skills; strong planning and execution skills
Superior oral and written communication and customer service skills and the ability to independently follow up as required
Ability to collaborate across Human Resource Management and Development to develop strategies that enhance overall talent management at the university
Strong project management skills
