I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION
Job Description Summary:
The Funders Forum on Accountable Health, a project of the Department of Health Policy and Management, is a learning collaborative that brings together funders, practitioners, and policymakers focused on advancing multisector coalitions that align public health, health care, and human services to promote equity and community health, and well-being and community empowerment. The Forum has an additional focus on strengthening and modernizing the public health system so it can be a stronger player in this field. The Forum conducts original research, evaluation, policy analysis and convenings to advance these concepts.

This position is responsible for planning, conducting and supervising research at a high level, by using quantitative and qualitative methods to design and develop, collect, analyze and report data activities. Using extensive experience and judgment, this role will plan independent research, analyze and interpret data, publish results, represent the university at conferences and meetings, develop new theories and methodologies.

Responsibilities Include:
Planning, conducting, and supervising research,
Policy analysis and convenings of experts at a high level using qualitative and (to a lesser degree) quantitative skills that will be translated for policy makers, funders, and advocates.
Using extensive experience and judgment
Writing and communicating with multiple audiences and diverse communities and constituencies.
Performs other related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a Master's degree plus 5 years of experience or a PhD plus 2 years of experience in a related discipline to include at least 2 years of research and/or college level teaching in a field basic to the work to be performed. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position.
