Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Essential Job Functions
The Gift Processor
works with the Gift Processing Manager to accurately post gifts and pledges to the
ASU
Foundation in Banner Advancement.
Responsibilities include:
Charging credit cards, setting up recurring credit card charges, and pulling online giving reports to post gifts to Banner.
Assists with preparing the daily deposit and reconciling Banner totals.
Prepare daily receipts, assist with gift audits, pledge reminder processing, departmental records management, archiving, and answer donor and development staff questions.
Assist with updating biographic information on 320,000 records of alumni, parents, businesses, and friends of the university in Banner Advancement.
Assists with the parent load process, duplicate record clean-up, and other data projects as necessary.
Primary backup for the Gift Processing Manager in times of absence, including handling phone and email correspondence, processing matching gifts, hosting training sessions for new employees, and supervision of student workers.
Other general clerical office tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Significant knowledge of office procedures and practices.
Must possess excellent verbal and written skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize workflow in order to meet various deadlines, and be able to work effectively within a team setting with multiple staff and personalities.
Position requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization skills.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to learn and interpret policies and procedures, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Individual needs to understand the
IRS
rules for charitable giving and
UNC
records retention policies.
The nature of this position (receiving cash/checks, assisting with deposit preparation, preparing tax receipts, etc.) requires the individual to work in the office
to be able to complete the necessary job tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Above-average computer and keyboarding skills, advanced experience with Microsoft Office software, and experience working with Banner Advancement.
