The Department of Physics at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) who will contribute to and expand the research strengths of the
Theoretical and Computational Physics group
and the Department.
About You:
Candidates from across the whole spectrum of theoretical physics are welcome to apply. Those with a background at the intersection of nanoscience and photonics are particularly encouraged to apply, especially if their research has a potential relevance to healthcare. You will have:
A proven record of research excellence in an international setting
Evidence of obtaining research funding commensurate with your experience and will establish a well-funded autonomous research programme
Contribute to the development and delivery of new undergraduate modules, particularly in Physics with Theoretical Physics
About Us:
The Theoretical and Computational Physics group has an international reputation for developing innovative theoretical and computational methods and applying them to interdisciplinary problems. We often work collaboratively with experimentalists both in Bath and elsewhere. Within the University, you will have the opportunity to work with other groups across the department, such as Nanoscience, Photonics and Astrophysics, as well as across departments and faculties.
