This part-time (0.6 FTE) maternity cover post is available from 16
th
May 2022 for a period of 14 months. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
We are looking to recruit someone with experience of working with international
students within Higher Education to work with international students at the University’s Penryn campus. You will support in delivering visa and immigration advice and also some of the University’s immigration compliance checks and processes.
You will also work to enhance the experience of international students studying at the Penryn Campus by playing a key role in organising and facilitating orientation and integration events, from the point of offer through until graduation.
You will be required to deliver the service via a range of different methods (in person, Microsoft Teams, email, workshops and webinars).
About you
Along with experience working with international students in higher education, you will also have a strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to have good IT skills and an eye for detail, especially when working under pressure.
