This is a full-time (1 FTE) position offered on a permanent basis.
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Library is seeking to appoint to the role of Head of Learning Development.
You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of ten learning developers who support students at all levels across the University to develop academic skills for effective study. This includes provision for writing development, English for academic purposes, and mathematics and statistics.
As a member of the Library Management Team you will contribute to the leadership and development of the Library and Learning Development in support of the Library’s vision, The Library Towards 2025
, and the University’s strategic objectives in relation to teaching, research and engagement.
We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about developing students to reach their academic potential and takes an inclusive and creative approach to service provision. An ability to build relationships and develop partnerships within and beyond the University is essential. You should have a postgraduate qualification and/or relevant teaching experience in Higher Education.
