Profile

The
Graduate
Admission’s Specialist position receives and manages
admissions application and
contact information from prospective
graduate
students and ensures quality and accuracy of data
management
to support the admissions and enrollment process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain
and update
student records and databases using Banner
Blackboard,
Degree Works
, Recruit CRM and
the
Veteran Affairs portal.
Work
closely with
graduate
a
dvisors
, directors and program coordinators
and other
staff regardin
g applicant's admission status.
Use
various technology and systems, ensuring accuracy, and efficiency
to process applications and V
eterans
A
ffairs
claims.
Maintain and track students’ progress throughout the application process, registration, and Trac Data progress reports.
Process
Veteran Affairs claims for graduate and undergraduate veterans and their dependents
Participate in
outreach and recruiting
events and
programs.
All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Master’s
degree
required
Prior experience 3-5 year in higher education
Qualifications
K
nowledge of admissions policies and procedures and enrollment management operations
A
dvise prospective students on the requirements
demonstrated technological proficiency, including Microsoft Office a
nd other software applications.
W
orking knowledge of computer data entry; proven ability to learn quickly, work efficiently, and accurately
under set deadlines.
D
emonstrated ability to work effectively wit
h others in a team environment.
A
bility and willingness to participate in projects that support the enrollment goals of the college; initiative, sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in
performing duties are required.
A
bility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, administrator
s, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
A
bility to maintain accurate records, assemble and organize data, and to prepare reports; excellent written
and oral communication skills;
and a demonstrated proficiency with using computer, email, and imaging.
