**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Colonial Athletic Association, is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for creating and delivering all aspects of physical programming for assigned sports teams as a team member of the Sports Performance Department
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with all phases of the Division I Strength and Conditioning Program implementing research-driven programming and practices.
• Design, implement, demonstrate proper lifting techniques, maintain, and supervise a safe and effective environment for student-athletes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Provide general weight room supervision enforcing safety measures in the weight room and equipment maintenance.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a Strength and Conditioning environment (e.g., college weight room, private fitness center) is preferred
• Ability to work early morning, late evening, and weekend hours regularly for in-season, off-season, and pre-season programs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the NSCA or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification from the CSCCa.
• Must be certified CPR/AED/First Aid as required by NCAA rules.
