What You Will Do:
Under close supervision, perform maintenance and repair of electronic patient care/monitoring and clinical engineering equipment of routine complexity including routine maintenance, safety testing, minor calibration, and minor repair.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Certificate in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or commensurate combination of education and experience, is required.
Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology or Electronics Technology is preferred.
Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of electronics or biomedical engineering Technology as applied to the calibration and repair of biomedical equipment and instrumentation. Knowledge of electronic component characteristics in relation to configuration in AC/DC circuits.
Demonstrated knowledge of color code conventions used in component and wiring marking. Demonstrated knowledge of digital electronics concepts, Boolean algebra and logical truth tables.
