We are looking to appoint a highly motivated researcher to join the Business School in our externally funded interdisciplinary research project. The aim of the project is to implement, test, and investigate the feasibility of a new energy storage system for decarbonising district heating networks in the UK. The role will be involved in co-designing a framework that will allow the development of the technology, addressing the technical, economic and political drivers and constraints.
During the post, you will
Conduct a commercialisation study for the development of the technology, this will include collecting secondary and primary data collection.
Engage with stakeholders and users as informants in this project.
Conduct and analyse relevant interviews.
Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject (or close to completion). Your work will be supported by Dr Hannah Noke and Dr Judy Muthuri and an interdisciplinary team within Engineering at The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. and our social science partners at Aston University. In the role, you will be encouraged and facilitated to develop your research portfolio and profile.
This full-time post will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31 August 2023.
