Job Description
Executive Functioning Teacher
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a Pre K-8 district, is seeking a skilled, experienced and dynamic EF teacher to work at the Curtis Middle School. The Executive Functioning teacher will provide instruction to individuals or small/large groups of students in the areas of self-management, organization, planning and prioritizing, time management, troubleshooting, and execution of tasks. Students may receive interventions to support specific content areas of need.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach specific organization and planning skills
Teach self monitoring, prioritizing, and time management
Instruct students to identify and plan goals for learning
Teach different study skills and strategies
Teach how to use and reinforce Schoology as a learning management system
Collaborate with other staff members to identify skill deficits
Support students in applying skills to content areas
Communicate with families as needed
Qualifications:
Very strong organizational skills
Knowledge of executive functioning as a whole
Ability to implement scope and sequence of EF curriculum
Certified to teach middle school
General knowledge of all content areas
