Requirements:
Current Maryland Board of Nursing CNA certification
Current and continuous enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited RN nursing program
American Heart Association CPR (Health Care Provider) certified
Application Process:
Please provide your Resume, which should lists your clinical rotations completed (include hospital, type of unit and specialty focus/acuity), anticipated graduation date, current GPA, any healthcare employment and CNA certification number with expiration. If you have not yet received your CNA certification, please know you will need to obtain this
10 days prior
to your potential start date. You must complete the Arena survey at the end of the application for your application to be complete
For those candidates finishing their first semesters, begin the CNA application process with the Maryland Board of Nursing, as soon as you receive your final transcripts. Time is of the essence.
A cover letter is required with your application for consideration.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Qualifcations include:
Current Maryland Board of Nursing CNA certification
Current and continuous enrollment in good academic standing as a Junior or Senior year in an accredited RN nursing program
Have completed at least first semester of your Nursing program including Fundamentals
Current American Heart Association
CPR (BLS Health Care Provider) certification
-An Official Current Transcript from your accredited RN Nursing program showing completion of Fundamentals
