****The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for the position of Professor and Associate Dean for Research and Advanced Studies. The Associate Dean is a senior member of the college administrative team and provides visionary leadership in biomedical and agricultural research in a decentralized campus environment that emphasizes academic excellence and fulfillment of the Land Grant mission. Requirements include a PhD, DVM, or MD degree or its equivalent and must be a distinguished biomedical, clinical, or agricultural scientist with a strong professional record compatible with an appointment of full professor with tenure. Successful candidates will have had a history of success in completing high-quality research and education in a basic science or clinical setting.
We are seeking a candidate who has experience in developing productive collaborative research programs and would have the ability and desire to drive efforts towards integration of research across the Urbana-Champaign campus.
