Department of Physics and Astronomy
invites applications for a
Physics Lecturer
beginning in August 2023. We seek applicants who have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. The successful applicant will be a vital member of a program that is focused on excellence in teaching, research, and engagement of undergraduate students. The physics and astronomy department is committed to a diverse community and encourages applications from minorities, veterans, and women.
Required Qualifications:
We seek applicants with a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, astrophysics, or a related field who have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate education or someone with equivalent educational background.
Position Details:
This lecturer position is a full-time, academic year, renewable position starting in August 2023. This employee will work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. This position is 1.0 FTE and includes a comprehensive and competitive benefits package
, including an insurance package, mandatory retirement plan, partial tuition waiver and wellness program. Salary for this position is $65,000/year commensurate with qualifications.
