which houses the BA in Music (Performance and Music Education Pre-Certification), BS in Music Recording Technology, BS in Audio Production, BA in Theatre (Performance and Technical Theatre) and service courses in Oral Communication and Humanities is seeking to fill several part-time adjunct faculty positions, beginning Fall 2023.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate must be committed to teaching undergraduate courses in Oral Communications, Public Humanities, and other discipline-related topics. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the scholarly advancement of the department, the School of Liberal Arts and Education, and the University through a productive research agenda that includes grantsmanship as well as service activities. Successful candidates are expected to hold office hours. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a master’s degree or at least 18 credit hours in Communications, Public Humanities, or a related field from an accredited university. A Ph.D. is strongly preferred. Experience in and evidence of successful teaching in a university setting is required. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in research and grantsmanship.
