Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George's County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George's County residents.

We're looking for an extraordinary team member to join our Chemistry Lab team at University of Maryland Capital Region Health. Our affiliation with the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) has created a number of new career pathways and makes this the perfect time for you to join our team.

Job Summary
Under the direction of the laboratory manager and designated supervisory staff, the senior technologist provides technical oversight of assigned sections of the laboratory to assure a high quality of laboratory testing for patent care. Serve as lead technologist for the laboratory and performs related administrative duties. Requires Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent certifications.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Requires Medical Technologist (ASCP) of equivalent certifications.
Medical Technologies (MT) or equivalent certification
3 years' experience years of progressively medical technologist experience in a clinical laboratory, preferably with at least 1 year in a senior technologist or supervisory capacity.
