The role
This role will help to coordinate and oversee the smooth running of the Content Team, delivering cost effective and speedy purchase, subscription and reading list support. The role will also support colleagues in the Open Access Team, through monitoring funder compliance and Read & Publish deals.
What will you be doing?
You will be using statistical and financial evidence to support the monitoring and development of service delivery using relevant evaluation tools, and by generating quantitative and qualitative statistical reports. You will be providing specialist advice and support to colleagues within these Teams, across Library services, and to colleagues in Procurement. You will make a leading contribution to reviewing library policy and procedures within the Teams.
You should apply if
You have experience of working in a library or information services environment, within a busy, fast-paced Purchasing Team. You have proven financial and/or statistical knowledge and experience. You are an excellent communicator who can build working relationships with colleagues, library users and information resource suppliers. You have a growing awareness of developments/trends within the Sector that would affect the work of these Teams.
