Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lutheran Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal Lutheran candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. The Lutheran Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, and assessing student progress. Teachers must live, model and teach faithfully God’s Word in its truth and purity as set forth in all the symbolic books of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.


• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.


• Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations.


• Provide individualized support to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.


• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.


• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.


• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching strategies.

Requirements

• A degree from a recognized university in Education or a related field is preferred.


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.


• Experience in teaching or working with children is highly desirable.


• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching are essential qualities for success in this role.


• Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom is a plus.
