The University’s student administration is delivered through three teams working in our Service Centres and dedicated spaces across our UK campuses. We are seeking experienced managers to lead in our Programmes and Assessments administration teams.
These full time (36.25 hour), permanent and fixed term opportunities are based within our teams directly involved in the delivery of student and assessments administration, covering areas across the student journey, including assessment, progression & award and maintenance of student assessment records throughout their time with us. We will be holding interviews for the following roles and allocate successful candidates to the roles based on previous experience and skill match.
Assessments Engineering
1 role
- This is a fixed term role for until 30/09/2023, leading a team primarily based on University Park. The postholder will be responsible for the line management of a busy and dynamic Assessments team with responsibility for ensuring effective support for aspects of assessments administration for students in the Faculty of Engineering.
Assessments Operations
2 roles
– We have both a permanent and a fixed term role (30/04/2023) available in the team responsible for the production of certificate and diploma supplements for our graduating students and working with the Graduation team to confirm the graduation population for each ceremony. These are new roles and the roleholders will be involved in reviewing and improving processes. These roles are University wide, delivering the service for all Faculties.
Other roles may be available by time of interview.
The role holders will work closely with other Managers in the team to ensure the successful delivery of tasks, whilst leading on named process areas for their Faculty or University wide.
Our teams work in an agile way, across our Registry & Academic Affairs hub offices on University Park, Jubilee, Medical School and Sutton Bonington campuses. Team members could be asked to work from any of these locations as well as remotely working from home for part of the week.
