This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Education Support Administrator to join our Education Support Team, providing all of the key administration and support activities that underpin the student experience from Fresher's Week to Graduation.
You will act collaboratively and act as ‘first port of call’ for academic staff and students in relation to taught undergraduate programmes, advising on local custom and practice, and referring to other sources of information and support.
In this role you will undertake a range of administrative tasks including managing student records, planning and organising events, creating and sharing communications through a range of platforms, and providing specialist advice and guidance on relevant matters. You will work to deliver an excellent, customer-focussed and seamless service.
All staff within Education Services are expected to work on-campus as well as from home, on a rota basis. You will be asked initially to work from campus for up to 4 days per week, whilst training is completed. This particular role is working within the Amory Hub Team on the Streatham, Exeter.
About you
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational, IT and communication skills, as well as someone who is capable of working with databases (for example SITS, BART and LISA programmes) and analysing complex data to produce evidence-based recommendations. You will have experience of working collaboratively and proactively in a team to deliver multiple objectives and high service standards.
You will have the ability to work effectively within a wider administrative team in a busy environment. The role requires a flexible individual with strong relevant administrative experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload in potentially sensitive situations.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details.
