Respiratory Therapy - Clinical Education Supervisor
Full Time - Nights

The University of Maryland Medical Center Respiratory Care team is currently looking for a skilled respiratory therapist to promote into a Nightshift Education Supervisor
role. Candidates must have broad critical care experience with neonatal, pediatric and adult patient populations. The role will manage new hire orientation, general staff education, policy review, interdisciplinary education, research and abstract preparation, performance evaluations and general staff supervisory responsibilities.

What You Need to Be Successful:
Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree preferred.
Graduate from an AMA approved program by the National Board of Respiratory Care in Respiratory Therapy is required.
Registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Therapist is required.
Licensure as a Respiratory Care practitioner by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance is required.
CPR certification is required.
ACLS and/or PALS certification is preferred.
Five years experience as a respiratory therapist is required.
Leadership experience is preferred.
Previous education experience is preferred.
Individuals will work 4 days per week in a combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts, some shift rotation, every third weekend and some holidays.
