Education Requirement:
Applicants must hold a medical doctorate from an approved medical college and have completed training in all phases of General Surgery.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in the treatment of burns and related injuries required.
Applicants must demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills, be committed to ongoing performance improvement, and to providing multi-disciplinary care.
Dedication to enhancing a diverse workforce and academic environment is vital.
Experience in research at a level which enables procurement of outside funding is required for tenure track appointments.
Certifications:
Applicants must possess board eligibility/certification from the American Board of Surgery or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications:
Completion of a fellowship in burn surgery is highly desired.
Board certification/eligibility or equivalent in Surgical Critical Care is highly desired.
Applicants with established research are highly desired.
