Job Description:
The History Department at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. seeks to hire a part-time adjunct instructor to teach two sections of HIS 114 World History I for the Fall 2023 semester. Classes run from August 28th to December 6th with finals held through December 13th. The courses are capped at 25 students each. Schedule will be determined at a later date and will be discussed individually. Successful candidates may have the possibility of teaching additional courses in subsequent semesters.
Requirements:
Applicants should have a PhD in History and a strong background in world history; ABD graduate students with prior teaching experience will also be considered. Applicants must be willing to contribute actively to the mission of the University as well as show respect for the Catholic and Assumptionist identity of Assumption University.
