**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently accepting student resumes for a Part-Time Junior Web Development Assistant. The mission of the Instructional Technology department is to provide training, support and production and leadership to the college community in instructional design, web development, audio/visual, video and multimedia inclusive of day-to-day usage as well as the development of new technologies and installations that support the growth of the institution.
This position will assist in Web Development in the live RVCC environment, including:
Designing web pages for public and college-community access
Implementation of page designs and content using standard industry tools, such as SharePoint Designer and Adobe Creative Suite
Use of standard web development languages, such as HTML, CSS, and possibly JavaScript
Supervised support to the RVCC college faculty and staff in maintaining and upgrading their web pages
Requirements:
Required:
Course IDMX225 (Web Page Development I) and IDMX268 (Web Page Development II) or equivalent knowledge of Web Design, HTML, and CSS.
Excellent computer culture; familiarity with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Office.
Ability to multi-task and work independently is essential.
Strongly Preferred:
Concurrent Course IDMX244 (JavaScript) or equivalent knowledge of Advanced Web Design, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and basic JavaScript.
Any knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 4.0 or above
Any web programming experience
Communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $20
