Wheeler is seeking a full-time kindergarten maternity leave teacher to start August 2022 and end December 2022.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and an eagerness to collaborate with others. The candidate should be driven to explore ways to reach all learners through differentiated instruction, student-centered teaching, positive classroom management and a variety of assessment methods. In addition, the candidate must have demonstrated organization and planning skills with strong attention to detail.    Responsibilities:  Teach reading, mathematics, writing, and social studies in an integrated and appropriate manner for kindergarten. Create a culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, play-based environment.  Provide high quality and regular contact with families. Collaborate as part of a grade-level team to continuously improve curriculum and instruction. Integrate technology thoughtfully and appropriately into the academic curriculum.
