The role
This is an exciting time to join the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Careers Service as we develop our five year careers service plan.
The Faculty Employability Adviser role coordinates professional employability support to allocated academic schools.  The postholder will interpret and analyse available data, working closely with the named academic contacts to create Employability Partnership Agreements that reflect agreed priorities.  They will design and deliver appropriate interventions for students and work with academic colleagues to develop employability skills of students. 
What will you be doing?
The role involves:
Analysing management information (e.g. student engagement and Graduate Outcomes data) to inform provision of relevant and effective curricular or co-curricular activities within schools
Using current labour market information, to inform planning, delivery and conversations with students and academics
Designing and delivering appropriate interventions which enable students to identify and articulate the employability skills they are developing within their programme of learning
Provide consultancy support to allocated academic schools advising academics on best ways to support and develop their students’ employability
Lead on the development of employability partnership agreements (EPAs) to develop priorities and actions for each allocated school.
Supporting the FET Manager to ensure that the objectives of this team are achieved to a high standard and working closely with other Careers Service teams and colleagues where appropriate.

Y
ou will need to be:
Strong at analysing data to inform planning and service delivery
Adept at designing and delivering group-based learning and comfortable using technology to deliver in various online and in-person formats,
Exceptionally organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Great with delivering engaging presentations and workshops using active learning approaches to a variety of student and staff audiences
Able to engage confidently with students to deliver short 1-2-1 appointments and/or
drop ins.
Qualified in a relevant
professional qualification or have relevant experience in a careers-related setting.
Additional information
Contract type:
1 x open-ended (permanent) 35 hours per week. Faculty of Engineering.
1 x FTC maternity cover from 23/05/2022 until 07/07/2023. 21 hours over 3 days per week. Health Sciences and Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
