We are looking to appoint a forward thinking and inspired Administrator to support in all areas of finance and research management within the School of Cultures, Languages and Area Studies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our friendly, inclusive, and supportive team who are committed to the smooth and efficient running of the school. 
Your role is varied, and you’ll be liaising with a wide range of people across the university as well as external visitors against a back-drop of frequently changing needs and priorities. Your role will be to support all areas of school operations but primarily focused on the administration support for finance and research working alongside two senior administrators. You will work to support other team members within the operations team, dealing confidently with a wide range of customer enquiries and supporting Senior Managers. 
You will be an effective team player who can also work well independently, who is able to deal with resolving problems and answering queries quickly and effectively. You will need excellent organisational and communication skills gained in a busy administrative environment and be able to remain calm under pressure while maintaining accuracy. You’ll be committed to delivering high standards of customer service using a proactive approach and be experienced at meeting deadlines and juggling competing priorities. A high level of IT skills will be required, including Microsoft Office 365. 
The post is offered on a permanent, full time (36.25 hours per week) contract and will be based at the University Park Campus. Job share arrangements may be considered.
