**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. has an anticipated opening of a Non-Tenure Chemistry Instructor for the Spring 2023 semester in the Science & Engineering Department.
The primary teaching responsibility is General Chemistry. Teaching schedule is for daytime assignments. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining office hours for student advisement and counseling, participating with other college faculty on academic committees, assisting in the development and assessment of curriculum, and participation in ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Chemistry required, Ph.D. in Chemistry preferred.

Two years of teaching experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Recent successful teaching experience in general and/or organic chemistry.

Demonstrated knowledge of current chemistry laboratory techniques.

The ability to make effective classroom presentations and use innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.

Demonstrated cultural competency, sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff.

Awareness and understanding of community college programs and students.

Skills and experience to work in a cooperative manner with faculty, students, administrators, staff, and community groups.
