The School of Engineering seeks to appoint an experienced academic to contribute to the teaching and learning in the area of Signal Processing applied to the Forensic Analysis of Audio/Video Criminal Evidence.
The school has a strong cohort of both undergraduate and postgraduate students and as part of the on-going development of programmes, there is an opportunity for a Senior Lecturer in (Audio/Video) Signal Processing to join our team.

You will have a strong commitment to ensuring an outstanding student experience and will be required to:
develop and deliver innovative teaching in Signal Processing in particular as it applies to the Forensic Analysis of Audio and Video material that might be used as Criminal Evidence, this would be at both Postgraduate and Undergraduate levels.
contribute to employability and practical experiences for the students.
liaise with businesses and other organisations to progress the research and teaching capability of the School.
contribute to the pastoral and academic supervision of students.
contribute to an excellent student learning experience, which is oriented to achieving high levels of employability for the School of Engineering’s graduates
You must hold a doctorate in a relevant subject as well as the ability to conduct high quality research, secure research funding and have the potential to create a positive impact in the School.
You will also be expected to contribute to broader school strategic agendas. This may include recruitment and outreach related activity, public engagement activities, and personal tutor responsibilities.
