Position Description Summary:
The Department of History at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. invites applications for a tenure track position in Latin American History at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin in the Fall 2022 term. Period and specialization are open, while the Department's teaching and research interests focus on the modern period.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching responsibilities will include the colonial and the modern Latin American surveys, and undergraduate and graduate specialized seminars. We also seek candidates who will be able to contribute to the department's responsibility in teaching world history.
Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD in history or a closely related field in hand by the time of appointment. Applicants must be able to demonstrate significant research promise and teaching competence.
