The Successful Applicant
The successful candidates will have:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage colleagues at all levels, including those without financial expertise.
Technically strong but able to be pragmatic.
Strong analytical skills to enable production of meaningful financial reporting.
Ability to convert data to management information easily understood by non-accountants.
Motivation to streamline processes and identify and implement continuous improvement.
Motivation both to work as a team member, supporting other accountants, and to work under own initiative.
Ability to manage and prioritise different and sometimes conflicting workloads and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills, particularly accounting systems and spreadsheets.
Candidates will also be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a recognised accountancy qualification.
