Are you passionate about customer service and looking for a role that’s filled with variety and challenge, working in a multicultural community? We are looking for enthusiastic, welcoming and customer-focussed people to lead our Customer Services Team based at George Green Library. As a team leader in Customer Services, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the delivery of high-quality frontline services. Working flexibly, you will proactively manage the efficient running of a wide range of services at one or more sites, ensuring that the library is safe and inclusive for all.
You will lead a team of staff that deliver a warm welcome and a great experience to our customers – both in person and virtually. You’ll need to work independently at times, prioritising and managing your workload effectively, whilst working with colleagues across all areas of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Libraries. You will also be responsible for recruitment, training, and supporting your team’s development.

The post is offered on a part time, permanent contract. Hours of work are 27.5 hours per week. Mon 2pm – 10pm, Thurs 8am -4pm, Fri 2pm – 10pm, Sun 9.30am – 5pm.
Please note some training may occur outside these hours. You will also work one public holiday/University Closure Day per year. To help deliver a full service, you may also be required to occasionally work at other libraries across our Nottingham campuses.
