The Coventry & Warwick Clinical Psychology Doctorate is an established and growing subject area which sits within the School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences, **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., and the Department of Psychology, University of Warwick. The Doctorate programme is commissioned by Health Education England and currently has an annual intake of 16 trainees.
Applications are invited from Clinical Psychologists, who can demonstrate a commitment to clinical psychology training, to join our Doctoral Programme in Clinical Psychology. The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating elements of the clinical practice placements, ensuring a high-quality clinical experience for trainees on the programme, including monitoring of trainee performance on placement and the development of their core competencies. In addition, the post-holder will contribute to other aspects of the day to day running of the programme, including selection, teaching, marking, research supervision and supporting trainees in their professional development through the appraisal tutor system. The role will also involve ongoing liaison with NHS and Expert by Experience colleagues as well as other internal and external stakeholders. The post-holder will be an integral member of the course team with a key part to play in shaping the future delivery of this course, and must be registered as a Clinical Psychologist with HCPC.
