LNA COURSE INSTRUCTOR

Burlington Technical Center’s Adult and Continuing Education program is looking to build a pool of highly qualified instructors to join our program during a period of anticipated growth. We are looking for a Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) to teach a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) online evening course this Winter/Spring 2021, with the potential for ongoing employment. Curriculum, materials, and online instructional support will be provided. The ideal candidate will come with availability to teach on at least 2 evenings per week. Additional availability during potential evening or day time instructional scheduling would be helpful but not required. Instructor requirements (1) hold a Vermont unencumbered license as a practical or registered
nurse; (2) have at least two years’ experience as a practical or registered nurse ; and (3) have
at least one year of clinical experience related to area(s) of instruction.
Preferred qualifications: 5 years experience as a licensed practitioner; Teaching and/or
supervisory experience; Experience with online course instruction as a student or instructor.
Competitive pay for instructional hours and course preparation. Employment is based on course enrollment requirements.
