Position Description Summary:
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Medical Faculty Associates Inc. (
MFA
), an independent non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is seeking candidates with experience in thoracic imaging for a full-time faculty appointment in the Department of Radiology. Appointment will be made at the rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor; salary will be commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include interpreting thoracic imaging studies; performing CT-guided lung biopsies; providing on-call coverage for emergency studies after hours and on weekends; teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participating in multidisciplinary clinical research; collaborating with our referring clinical colleagues and administrative partners; and assisting with administrative functions of the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be
ABR
eligible or certified and should have completed a thoracic imaging fellowship, or possess comparable experience in all facets of thoracic imaging, by the time of appointment. Applicants should have demonstrable academic accomplishments (scholarly activity and/or innovative teaching) and be eligible for medical licensure in the District of Columbia.
