Applications are invited for a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate position through the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. in partnership with Test Inc. The KTP Associate will be located at Test Inc.’s premises in Harlow, Essex, UK.
Test Inc. is one of the most innovative and progressive electrical maintenance companies within the United Kingdom and Ireland, supplying a range of building electrical cable insulation test solutions that ensure compliance with national and international electrical wiring regulations and standards. With over 30 years’ experience, Test Inc. are leaders in electrical insulation and compliance testing services to government, commercial and industrial clients, specialising in complex and critical environments.
The KTP Associate will deliver a project focussing on advanced cable electrical insulation test regimes for building environments to improve the assessment of electrical cable integrity and cable maintenance schedules, to ensure continuity of electrical supplies and improve electrical building energy efficiency.
The Associate will be employed by the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. but spend the majority of working time at the company’s premises in Harlow. The KTP Associate position provides aspiring graduates valuable career development and work experience in a company focussing on real-life projects, project challenges and project management, enabling the graduate to apply academic knowledge and learn from active practitioners in the field. The Associate will be joining a team of highly committed professionals at Test Inc. and as such the nature of this role requires a special individual who will embrace the company ethos and strengthen the Test Inc. team. This is initially a 24-month collaborative project between Test Inc., the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and the Department of Architecture at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. However, and additionally as part of the Associate ongoing professional development and commitment to continuous improvement, opportunities exist for the selected candidate to acquire additional skills across all disciplines within Test Inc.’s business.
To be considered for the role the applicant is expected to have a minimum of a minimum 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline. Relevant experience in related areas will also be of added value.
