The Department of Economics at the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking to appoint a Professor in Economics. Having established international reputation across all branches of Economics, the Department is seeking to consolidate and further strengthen its academic excellence in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, and thus strongly encourages applications in these two areas.
The post is expected to commence in October 2022, although the starting date is negotiable.
This post is available from 0.8 Full Time Equivalent to full time.
Candidates should demonstrate a distinguished publication record and a successful record of attracting external research funding, research supervision and leadership experience. The successful applicant will contribute to the development of key objectives of the department including lead research activities (particularly in terms of publications, research funding, and impact); have a major role in the implementation of our educational aims, including curriculum development; provide effective mentoring of junior colleagues; take active part in the governance and strategic planning of the Department.
